It’s been a fun winter on the Gunflint Trail. I’ve done some cross country skiing, downhill skiing, been helping on dog sled races, and even had the snowmobile out a few times.
I have also been able to finish up a project I have been working on for a year or so. It started out as a joke, to a friend who is an amazing photographer. I told her that her photos were worth putting out in a book. Not long after, I joked that I’d do it then, I’d put out a book of my photographs! And well, I did it!
It ended up being a fun project. I wrote more than I thought I would, and it still contains over 70 pictures of the Gunflint Trail and the Grand Marais area. Basically a few short stories of my life, experiences, and opinions of Cook county and the Boundary Waters area.
I just noticed today that it’s for sale on Amazon, and searchable under both title and author! It’s been a fun learning experience.
