It is an early spring on the Gunflint Trail, almost a month earlier than I can remember. Many lakes are opening up very quickly. On my way home from a job today, I swung in and took the quick hike down into Moss lake. It’s fun to see the clear open water, and I was actually suprised how much ice was still on the lake. I like those sunny spring days when you can smell the pines again. I hope everyone is having a great spring!
